The summer we married, my husband was in graduate school, and I was employed as a teacher. We took a portion of our savings that summer and purchased a sailboat. We christened our Catalina 22, “Hyacinths For The Soul” after Saadi’s poem. Our "Hyacinths" provided years of pleasure.

  5. Spectacular riot of colors! I think I remember your group having lunch at this location before. It was just as impressive then, too.
The menu looks delicious & I like that it can all be done ahead of time, sans the baking of the main course.
I am pinning this for a Cinco De Mayo party next May!!
Please tell your friend "thank you" for letting us see all her beautiful treasures!

  13. Oh, my goodness gracious!!! I love this more than words can say! I did a Latin-inspired tablescape this year, too, and liked it so much that I left some of the elements in the room for the remainder of the season. But this...THIS is just fantabulous!!! That staircase is absolutely awesome!!! I love the way the buffet table is covered in all of those cloths, too! And that TREE!!! SO pretty! Just FILLED with color and sparkle and joy!!! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful setting! Prospero ano nuevo a ti y tu familia!
